What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you're arriving earlier or leaving later, just let us know on WhatsApp — as a small family-run agriturismo we're flexible whenever we can be, and Fabio will greet you personally and show you around the estate.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast isn't included, but you have everything you need to make your own: each suite has a fridge, water boiler and coffee machine, and all guests can use the fully equipped kitchen in the pool house. If you'd rather not lift a finger, a homemade breakfast with seasonal produce from the farm is available on request at €12 per person — just ask when booking.
Are pets allowed?
We're sorry, but pets aren't allowed. Cavallina is a working farm with free-roaming dogs, cats, donkeys, geese and other animals, so for everyone's safety and peace of mind we can't host guest pets. The good news: there's no shortage of animal company here — our farm family will be happy to meet you.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes — a private 15-metre pool shared only between our guests and the family who live on the farm, open roughly from May to September depending on the weather. Sun loungers and a gazebo sit alongside it, with views over the estate.
Is parking available?
Yes — free private parking on the estate, right by the guest house. We're a couple of minutes from the Affi–Lago di Garda exit of the A22 motorway, so arriving by car is easy.
How far is Lake Garda?
The lake shore at Lazise and Bardolino is about 10 minutes away by car. Verona and the Arena are around 25 minutes, Verona Villafranca airport about 30 minutes, and Bergamo and Venice airports roughly 1h30.
Can we book the whole guest house for ourselves?
Yes. The guest house comprises the Junior Suite and the Suite, each sleeping up to four guests — book both and you'll have the whole guest house to yourselves, ideal for families or friends travelling together.
Is Cavallina Retreat suitable for families with children?
Very much so. Children love meeting the donkeys, ducks and geese, and there's a tennis court, ping-pong, billiards, a BBQ area, a wood-fired pizza oven and 25 hectares of farmland to explore. Each suite has a sofa bed in the living area, so families fit comfortably.
How do I book, and what's the best rate?
Book direct by WhatsApp for our best rate — you skip platform fees, get flexible cancellation, and Fabio replies personally, usually within a couple of hours.
What are the reservation and cancellation policies?
A 30% deposit confirms your direct booking, with the balance paid on arrival. Cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival and your deposit is fully refunded; for cancellations after that, the deposit is retained. Stays booked through Airbnb follow Airbnb's own cancellation policy.
